Yes is possible
( sim é possivel )
You must specify a printer model
( voce deve especificar um modelo de impressora )

by example
(por exemplo)
I had an old infrared port printer, model HP2440 ( I dont remember )
( eu tinha uma antiga impressora com porta infravermelha , modelo HP2440 - eu nao me lembro )
that used with my HP48 calculator
(que eu usava com minha calculadora HP48)

The commands you can found in web site of Manufacturer
(os comandos voce pode achar nos web sites dos fabricantes)
generaly they are simple
(geralmente eles são simples)

-- printerHP.lua
-- make with plua 1
-- by Vinicius ( I dont test it )
pclear()
ptitle("HP IR printer")
hpprint=openser("ir0",9600,"8N1")
plabel("imprimir:")
linha=pfield(1,15,15,"")
pnl()
b1 = pbutton("print")
while 1 do
ev,id = pevent()
if ev=ctlSelect and id=b1
then
  -- comandos simples
  write(hpprint,pgettext(linha) )

  -- comando negrito, compativel rima, word+/-
  write(hpprint,#27.."B"..pgettext(linha) )
  -- outros comandos, ver manual
end -- if

end -- while
closeser(hpprint)
-- fim do programa
