Hello,

Starting today, membership to the Plua group is open to anyone.
Messages do not require approval. It means that I will not be
maintaining it anymore. The messages and archive are open for anyone
for reference.

In light of the recent announcement from Palm, that is, webOS will
replace PalmOS and will not offer backwards compatibility, at least to
me it makes no sense to devote time to the now arcane PalmOS.

The source code status remains undefined. It was not sold yet, but
there are still offers to consider.

Best regards,
Marcio.

Re: Status - Thank you Marcio... for everything.

Marcio,
Thank you for devoting so much time and effort into Plua.
It may have limits, but it is a fantastic small-device development environment.
You have brought a lot of enjoyment to many people worldwide.
You have set a wonderful example of how to develop applications in a very generous and thoughtful way.
Hope you will find a new home somewhere in the Palm Pre platform.
If a preferred PalmOS emulator ever arrives, perhaps you might consider making Plua run on it successfully?
